Taft McKinstry, along with three other "senior attorneys" in the local bankruptcy bar, founded the Central Kentucky Network of the International Women's Insolvency & Restructuring Confederation (IWIRC), as the 40th Network started in the 20th Anniversary Year of the inauguration of IWIRC.

As Mark Twain said, "When the end of the world comes, I want to be in Kentucky, because everything there happens 20 years after it happens anywhere else."

IWIRC 20 Years

They are proud of our Kentucky heritage and the excellence in our local insolvency and restructuring community. The local chapter goals mimic those of IWIRC: to increase connections, relationships, and the expertise of the many savvy women professionals in the legal, banking, accounting, and financial spheres which touch our clients on a daily basis.

The Founders are excited to start the Central Kentucky Chapter in 2013 as a resource for the many younger women who are rising up into leadership roles in their respective industries. The Central Kentucky Chapter sees its mission as continuing to provide awareness, role models, and assistance to women professionals in the restructuring fields. Through social and educational events, and access to the national IWIRC with over 1,200 members, Central Kentucky IWIRC will deliver both tangible and intangible benefits to our participants and to our communities.
