Guy R. Colson receives Fayette County Bar Association’s 2018 Henry T. Duncan Award

Fowler Bell PLLC is pleased to announce the selection of attorney Guy R. Colson as the 2018 recipient of the Fayette County Bar Association's Henry T. Duncan Award.

We are excited to share this news because Guy's dedication and contribution to our community are significant. He has served as Chair of the Board of the Christian Benevolent Outreach, Chair of the Elders at Southland Christian Church, Board Member and Founder of the Lexington Fayette Urban County Government Arboretum Committee, Member of the Lexington Challenger Tennis Charity, Chairman of the Lexington Area Sports Authority, Inc., and was the recipient of the 2009 Fayette County Bar Citizens Award. In the Bar Association, he has served as President of the Kentucky Defense Council, on the Board of Directors for the American Inns of Court, on the Board of Governor's for Fayette County Bar Association, on the Kentucky Council School Board of Attorneys, and on the Board of Directors of the Fayette County Legal Aid. He's a Life Fellow of the Kentucky Bar Foundation and a Founding Member of the Fayette County Bar Foundation.

The Henry T. Duncan award was created in 1960 to honor a member of the association who had made an outstanding contribution to the community. The award is presented to an attorney whose integrity, leadership, and professional conduct serves to exemplify the high ethical and professional standards that benefit the community.
